LAND'S END DRONE SHOW
In the summer of 2026, Afterglow Drone Shows teamed up with Land's End Landmark to create Cornwall's first regular drone light show. Land's End has offered fireworks at the site for the last 20 years, but has since opted to suggest an alternative and more environmentally conscious option to holiday-makers and Cornish locals alike.
Every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer, Afterglow takes to the skies with a 100-drone fleet to light up the dusk with shapes, patterns and colours that are in theme with the Cornish landscape surrounding it.
DRONE LIGHT SHOWS FOR
VISITOR ATTRACTIONS
How can we afford a drone show?
At Afterglow, we specialise in beautiful, spectacular and awe-inspiring drone shows for events, weddings and parties. Afterglow is based in Cornwall, and we love the idea of working with brands and visitor attractions to provide an unforgettable experience for their customers and to elevate their marketing.
One-off drone show displays are the most expensive way for us to fly. This makes it much harder for us (and for you) to show your customers what we can achieve with drone light technology. Regular drone shows are the future in the event space in the South West, and this approach can dramatically reduce the cost per show.
Designing a drone show is 75% of what we do and is where the majority of our time is spent. Why not use this custom-designed drone show - built to complement your brand - and fly it multiple times throughout the year?
Bonus points if we fly two shows in one night in the winter...
It would be great to have a no-pressure introductory call with you, to discuss ideas, options and pricing.

The audience's reaction was incredible, and it just looked stunning with the backdrop of Land's End.
They're very easy and laid back to work with, and they've really taken into consideration what we need as a business. It's really made a difference to us."
For us, the goal was to really make a statement; to show we're the market leader and be the first. This is a time where we have to look at what our environmental impact is and what the future is. We really wanted to be the first established drone show in Cornwall throughout the summer. Tonight has proved we've well and truly done that.

OUR PLANET-FIRST APPROACH
The impact of drone shows
We are here to offer a greener alternative to evening entertainment, which can release single-use chemicals and plastics into our seas, rivers and landscape. Our low-impact and low-noise drone light shows are powered by renewable energy, are fully reusable and do not disturb wildlife and domestic animals.

zero POLLUTION
There's no way around it. Fireworks displays create waste and CO2. Although plastic-free alternatives are available, fireworks spread cardboard and plastic across the environment and are carried by the wind. This waste needs to be collected and is usually undertaken once visitors have left.

INCLUSIVITY
Spare a thought for people in your local community this Bonfire Night, or New Year's Eve - the elderly, individuals with mental health issues, including PTSD and others with conditions such as epilepsy. Drone shows cater to a wide range of individuals and are much more inclusive to local communities.

Animal Disturbance
We all know that many of our domesticated four-legged friends are scared of loud bangs, but have you ever considered how this can affect birds, mammals and insects in the surrounding area?
Fireworks can distress wildlife, causing them to flee their nests or relocate to a different area [1].
NOBODY'S PERFECT
Of course, we are not saying that we are perfect, but we are working on it.
Our drones are designed and built in the UK. Our batteries, along with our off-grid office, are powered using solar and wind power, generated from the Cornish sunshine, our company van is electric and we aim to recycle our batteries at the end of their long life cycle.
There is always more that we can do.
